Quartzsite Rally 2022 - Reply Thread

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Also, I have created a rough Itinerary which is obviously flexible and dependent upon what folks want to do and this can be firmed up when we arrive, unless there are any specific suggestions out there??

Jackie, what about the trip to the Desert bar, I think Kevin and Pam were on about the last Sunday for it?

I was just going to mention that. Yup, last Saturday of the show we are going to the Desert Bar for lunch. That means leaving 10ish or so to beat the crowds. Anyone who wants to join is welcome. Also note another place of interest - Castle Dome museum. Great place with lots of historic and mining relics.

Pam, I thought we go on Sundays? not that there's anything wrong with going Saturday. Companies great any day.

We could do either one. Some people love the last day of the show, thinking they can get goodies on sale. Then again, some people might only come for the weekend and want to go to the show on Saturday. I am willing to do either.

Oh, and the Monday after the show is the beginning of a nice time. So many people leave that the town becomes pretty normal again. It is our favorite time at Q.

The only problem about going to the Desert bar on Saturday is choosing between the bar or the pot luck🤔

Yey, that's good, I hate having to make difficult choices 😁

For info about the 2022 QZ Rally location, a schedule of events, other Rally info, and to sign up for the Rally:
And just for those who misconstrue the above post, signing up just means there will be people who can be aware you're not arriving as anticipated, thus perhaps checking (phone/email/etc) on your situation, as well as letting people know you plan to come. Other than that it's no different than if you arrive without being expected -- you're welcome in any case.

Like Larry said, this isn’t a traditional-style rally with commitments to arrive and leave on a specific date. Show up when you want and if you want for as long as you want. Someone will probably be there from December until April, so you can camp in the area even if you can’t make it during the official “rally”. Very few planned activities, and no pressure to attend the informal activities usually planned the night before around a campfire.

Thanks to everyone who joined the Q and A Live QZ Virtual Chat. It was informative and we have a request to repeat it in the next few weeks.

We, Burnetta and Dwight, are leaning very heavily on being at the Quartzsite gathering this coming Jan. Not sure on timing yet but I think we'll make it before the start of the Big tent event. 😊😊
