Question about 1997 Coachman Catalina Class A Motorhome

My 1997 Coachman Catalina is built a Ford F53 Chassis with a 460 7.5 engine.

I lost the Power Steering Reservoir cap and I cannot even find the part number!

If anyone owns a 1997 Coachman Catalina Class A would you kindly post a photo of the Power Steering Reservoir cap.

I'm trying to find a universal one that fits. Thank you.

That is most likely a Ford part so you can probably get one from a NAPA or Auto Zone or other parts store. Just tell them that you have a 1997, Ford F53.

Thanks Kirk. I've already searched your suggestions as well as many others.

I've even searched for other Ford vehicles with the Ford 460 big block but no luck.

I might try to carve one out of a rubber stopper but was hoping to find one with a dipstick.

Good point but with my carving skill - my DIP Cap will likely have plenty of air gaps

I didn't have any problem looking up a 1997 Ford F53 "Stripped Chassis" Power Steering Reservoir cap on Ford.com.

My 1996 Ford F53 chassis used the same cap (and dipstick) Ford used on every other power steering pump that year.
