Question on a double handle kitchen faucet

My neighbor asked for some plumbing help.
Her hot water side of the double handle kitchen faucet is leaking badly when she turns it off and when it is turned on the water just dribbles out.
In looking at the faucet there doesn't seem to be any way to get at the valve with out taking the entire unit off from under the sink.
There is no screw on the top of the handle and no knurled knob, etc.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get at it that I am missing ?
Also, are these throw away faucets, or do the valves have washers or "O" rings ?

The trailer is a Forest River Wildwood

There is probably a cap to pry off or a handle that unscrews.

Yes, nearly all RV faucets are pure, throw away junk.  Replace with a better faucet from a home center or hardware store.

That doesn't answer my questions above !

Jack, can you take a picture of it?  I'm thinking it's either the style where there will be a set screw on the side holding the handle on the valve stem (it will be very small) or it's the style where on the top of the handle/knob, there will be a cap which pops out and under that will be the screw which holds the knob on the stem. A picture would really help though.  Does it look like one of these?

Hard to be helpful when the faucet brand/model hasn't been identified and no pictures provided.  Often the faucets provided with lower-priced RVs are el cheapo throw-aways, so replacing it is probably the best option. You can use any brand/model you like form a local building supply - nothing "RV" about the one that's there now.

There is a pry off cap with a screw under it or a set screw on the side of the handle. It does come off and yes you can replace o-rings to stop the leak. Sometimes easier than replacing the faucet.

There must be an echo in here.  That's exactly what I said almost word for word.  ::) :-[ :-\ ;D ;)

I agree with both of you.  There should be a way to remove the handle, then get into the valve.
However, as others have said, it IS a cheap faucet.  A $25 faucet from the big box store will be far better quality than what is in there now.
