Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a list on the internet or a book that shows towns which have "no camping ordinances" ?  Trying to get all my ducks in a row before leaving in case we get stuck while traveling with no vacant campground space.  Are going thru Utah and South Idaho and not many towns nor campgrounds enroute to WA State.  Would appreciate any info.  Thanks

The list would be long.  Street camping is a pita to most towns and cities.

What you need is a campground guide, either Woodalls or Trailer Life.  That plus a modicum of planning and a cell phone to call ahead reservations will take care of all enroute camping needs.  Even a dry camp in a reasonably decent commercial cg is safer than camping on a street, highway, or in a rest area.  Especially a rest area.
