Where do you all park your RV or motorhome?

Do you all own your land plots?

Do you buy from dealers or have yours custom made-built?

Does property taxes or mortgage fees affect your RVs?

Are Class As or Class Cs strong enough to tow/carry lightweight ev cars, motorcycles, or motor scooters?

Are there RVs designed with living with a cat, dog, or both in mind?

Full timer or not?

Property tax on vehicles depends on which state. My Class A, well see here.

An RV is probably the best way to travel with a pet.

I carry a 320 lbs electric motorcycle on my hitch.

Check the tongue weight capacity of each RV. The same goes for the cycle ramp. My Class A has a 500 lbs tongue weight capacity, but my Class C is only 350 LBS. It can vary but the RV will always say it's capacity, often right on or very near the hitch itself.

For the Class A we had a pole barn built to park the RV, keep it out of the Florida sun and added a power panel. Even on a small lot, this was possible and very convenient.
Our new place has more land and a pole barn with power already here when we bought it.
No pesky HOAs on either property.
Storage lots are a good place to keep your RV if you want it damaged, broken in to, and to have your catalytic converter stolen.

Where do you all park your RV or motorhome?
The answer depends on where you live. We have lived where we parked the RV next to the garage or house and we have lived where we had to rent a spot in an RV storage lot.
Do you buy from dealers or have yours custom made-built?
Very few people own an RV that is custom built, but if you have enought money there are companies that build them. We have bought both new and used RVs from dealers and we have bought used from a private party.
Does property taxes or mortgage fees affect your RVs?
The answer depends on what state you live in but nearly all states have some type of taxes on an RV, starting with sales tax and vehicle registration fees.
Are Class As or Class Cs strong enough to tow/carry lightweight ev cars, motorcycles, or motor scooters?
We have owned two class A RVs and we have towed a Ford Ranger behind the first and a Honda CR-v behind the second one.

(at home when not traveling)

Do you all own your land plots?
(yes, we own our own home. We lived in a city for 16 years with the camper parked on our property. One day we had a note on the door from the zoning board stating we were in violation of zoning for having the camper parked on our own property. Long story short, we sold the house and move to a different county where we could keep the camper with us.)

(RV's are expensive and they are expensive to maintain. There is no such thing as "living cheap" in an RV, no matter how you try. They cost money. There are no "mortgages" on RV or motor homes. They are "secured" loans as the RV itself is the collateral. Taxes fall under several different categories and taxes are established by each state. Some states still have personal property tax on RVs. Others do not. Some have sales tax, some do not. Some state tax based on the value of the RV, some do not. And when purchasing license plates and registrations from the state DMV, there may or may not be state and / or federal excise tax. Each state has it's own tax requirements.

Are Class As or Class Cs strong enough to tow/carry lightweight ev cars, motorcycles, or motor scooters?
Directly from the bumper? No. Most who attach hitches to their RV will have them professionally welded to the frame. But, each RV / motorhome may be different. Some can tow with no issue and some cannot. It all depends upon the make and model. Never just assume because it's a big machine it can tow or haul.

Are there RVs designed with living with a cat, dog, or both in mind?
RV's are designed to make the manufactures money. That's all. There are thousands of floor plans amidst thousands of different campers over the last hundred years or more. Each floor plan is an attempt to allure a different clientele. The same camper can be used with or without pets. But mostly, it's up to the new owner to figure out how to accommodate the pet. Some are built with pets in mind, but not too many. Same as some built with a dedicated space for a kitchen trash can, but most are not.

had a note on the door from the zoning board stating we were in violation of zoning for having the camper parked on our own property

Anyway, a good conversation erupted from the OP's "questions".

We had our motorhomes parked in our driveway for 15 years before I was notified, as Dutch points out, that I violated a village zoning code enacted in the early 1970s. A neighborly argument elsewhere in town started a "p...sing contest that led to one neighbor filing a complaint with the village board. So the other neighbor with the camper drove around the entire village and counted over 150 "other" RVs that would violate the obscure code. I hired a lawyer who I used to coach in T-Ball baseball to contact the village on my behalf and attend a village board meeting with me. The lawyer (who also was the village attorney at one time) told the board how outdated the code was, provided them with pictures of my 36' motorhome in my driveway, leaving almost 100 ft. from my RV to the highway. The village stayed my citation. The following Spring, the board rewrote the village code to be reviewed case-by-case and determined by the zoning inspector if an RV posed any harm or danger to passing traffic and pedestrians. So, I'm in the clear. As a bonus, my former ballplayer did not charge me for his services!

Is the OP a reporter? Sounds like one to me.
If not a reporter doing some sort of research for something? Possibly just personal, but some really off the wall (dare I say dumb) questions that make me think its more than that. But to each their own.

RV designed for pets?
RV designed with office?
My personal favorite -- How do the RV owners of Class A RVs get their foods from fast food restaurant drive-thrus? -- I mean really- you want to take a Class A thru McDonalds???? LOL

I store our Class A motorhome in an old metal shed on the family cattle ranch about 20 miles from my house when not in use, it is covered and I have access to electrical hookup and water there. When traveling we mostly camp in public campgrounds, along with commercial RV parks, as well as some dry camping / boondocking. We are getting ready to go on a circa month long 3,300 mile trip in a couple of weeks, and plan to camp off grid for over half of it in Wyoming, with a couple of days of full hookups in the middle to dump, refill the tanks, and do laundry, etc.

Yes, we own our own house, but don't keep the motorhome there, instead it is kept on family land mentioned above.

I am not sure I understand this question, but our coach is a 2002 Safari Trek (Safari was bought out by Monaco a few months before ours was built, so technically it is a Monaco branded product)

Property tax / registration fees, etc. vary by state, my state has no property tax on vehicles or RV's, and low registration fees ($65 every 2 years), but where they hit you is the 9.9% sales / use tax when you buy an RV or import it into the state.

You will need a Diesel pusher motorhome to carry any but the lightest motorcycle / scooters, generally any motorcycle over about 450 pounds needs to be carried on motorcycle lift on a diesel pusher, not a hitch mount cargo carrier, even ones with stabilizer bars. There are no EV's that I know of that can be flat towed, but some that can be towed with a dolly, most Class A gas coaches have a 5,000 pound towing capacity, and most diesel pusher Class A's built in the last 20 years have a 10,000 pound towing capacity. We flat tow a small car (Toyota Yaris with manual transmission) which weighs in around 2,300 pounds.

I don't know of any "designed" with dog / cat in mind, but somewhere in the back of my head I seem to recall one brand marketed a nook for pet food / water bowls in the kitchen.

We installed a full hookup site next to our lakeside summer cottage that we've upgraded for year round use. We were full time RV'ers for 13 years, until we had to leave the full time road due to health issues. We still enjoy staying in our motorhome even when we're home. We're both disabled, and the compact motorhome floorplan is easier for us to navigate. We only move into the house for the few coldest winter months.

We own our own land so I park my camper on my property. It’s on a level solid pad with its own full hook up sewer, water and a double 100 amp RV pedestal this way if I have company they can pull in my driveway next to my camper and they can hook up water and electric if they need to dump I simply pack my camper out of that spot let them dump and then I return back to my spot. My camper stays plugged in electric wise 24 seven year round.

Our travel trailer has been parked at our house for nearly 10 years.
We own our house if that’s what you’re referring to.

Neither prop taxes or mortgages affect our RV
RV’s are designed for humans. You do whatever it takes to accommodate your pets.

Exactly... The only accommodations we made for our dog was moving her bed/blanket, food dish, and a few toys from the house into our motorhome. Oh, and buying a spill proof water dish so she could get a drink while under way.
