Quick fix for electrical problem

We plug in the trailer. Nothing. Check cords, power source, fuses, nothing wrong. THEN, go up to the main battery and see that the fuse has been pulled from the wire that feeds it, and is corroded.
Stripped wires, replaced the wire-joint connection between trailer and battery, and put in new fuse. Perfect now.  :p I'm learning that an RV is like a big Lincoln Log project. When it falls apart, you just keep building back onto it.
 
Exactly.  With a little bit of knowledge and some patience you will learn a lot about a lot of different systems.
