Looking for a decent campground within striking distance of Redwood NP.  The RV is too large for any of the park sites.  Thanks.

Dougie.

I spent two months at the Harbor RV Anchorage, 159 Starfish Way, Crescent City, CA, (707) 464-1724 ‎last summer and was very happy. Not the most modern park, but the rates were reasonable, the showers first class and the view out my back door was world class:

Located right on the beach and at the entrance to a harbor the sea life was amazing. Those mountains you see in the shot above are all Redwood National Park. I have more photos from around the campground located in this album:

I think you might like this one.  http://www.benbowrv.com/  The historic Benbow Inn is fun to visit, also.

you might check out klamath river rv park. nice location right on the water and close to redwoods. it was very clean and quiet when we have stayed there .

Hi we are camping at the crescent city KOA in late july , will have a bunch of kids, we are hitting the redwoods, and beachcombing, are there any other places of interest in this city that we should see?  We will probably only be here this one time  (only 3 days).  thanks!! Jill

I've no idea why, but I wasn't notified of any replies!!

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I'll look at them all.
