Refrigerator noise with no power or gas

So I apparently made a horrible mistake while putting our '06 Tioga into hibernation this winter. I left thee refrigerator on and forgot to shut off the propane line. When I went out this morning to inspect the RV, I heard a clicking nose coming from the refrigerator even though there is no power or gas. I turned the fridge off but the noise continued. It's cyclic in nature where is speeds up over a period of time then slows down and stops. I have a call in to my service shop but am waiting for them to call me back.

Any ideas whats going on, how i stop the noise, and if I'm buying a new fridge?
