Creamer's Refuge
New Member
We're recruiting volunteer refuge hosts for August 15–September 21 (with a flexible end date) at Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks, Alaska. This historic dairy site is managed to conserve wildlife, and promote and enhance wildlife habitat, especially for waterfowl and migrating birds. We’re looking for friendly, energetic volunteers to welcome visitors at the Farmhouse Visitor Center, assist with light maintenance and clean‑up, and help mow and trim about eight acres around the historic farm buildings. Volunteers enjoy a peaceful on‑site residence area with a full‑hookup RV or travel‑trailer pad, including sewer and electricity. This host period coincides with peak bird migration in Interior Alaska. Please contact Heather McFarland at [email protected] or 907‑459‑7301 with questions.
