Replacement lights for TT

I have a 2016 Jayco TT in which several ceiling lights have completely or partially failed. I live a long way from any RV accessory stores, so looked for replacements on Amazon, etc. The lights in question are pretty standard looking.

Found some, but the reviews were definitely mixed, with a high percentage of both 5 star and 1 star reviews. I've bought things that had similar review issues, and have had mostly good results. The difference this time is that there's considerable work involved in removing/installing about ten lights only to find out that several of them fail soon after all the work has been done, and perhaps after the expiration of the return window.

Has anyone had good (or bad) luck finding decent TT replacement lights? Any recommendations ?

Seems strange that so many lights would fail. And what does "partially failed" mean? Dim light or or some portion of a fixture out while the rest is OK? Have you checked to see that the fixtures still get 12v power? Maybe a blown fuse or broken wire connection?

Many fixtures have replaceable bulbs. Do these? And are these fixtures incandescent, fluorescent, or LED? All the same or...?

Thanks for responding.

The 'card' with wires attached on back can be popped out of the plastic housing. I googled everything printed on the card and could not find any info on buying replacements. Replacing a fixture is easy, but there's ten bad ones, so it adds up.

The diameter of the housing is 4 and 7/8 inches, by the way, but larger or smaller would work as well.

Of the fifteen or so ceiling fixtures, only five or so are perfect (all eight LEDs working). Two have failed completely, and eight fixtures have only two - five working light emitters. I did check the voltage on one of the completely failed fixtures, and it was good. There is no pattern to the failures, they are randomly spaced throughout the 24 ft trailer, and all other electrical components seem to be working fine. I am assuming they have failed due to age (over ten years) and the generally cheap components chosen for lower/middle range units like this one.

I was looking on Amazon and found these lights by Command Electronics, that appear to be the same as you have now. Since they are now 10 years old, if they have been used very much, I would not consider that too bad a lifetime for them but there are numerous other choices on Amazon.

Thanks for the response. When I first starting looking into replacing these lights a year ago I did not find any by Command Electronics. I did find other brands with mixed reviews, and saved them in an Amazon list. I don't think Command was selling through Amazon when I first looked or I would have seen them. I'll definitely consider them. Thanks for the heads up.

Will offer that given empirical results, I wouldn't be looking at the same brand. It's a fair guess there's nothing cheaper the builder could've found.

Given my own experience, whatever fixture you pick buy just one or two and try them in place. There's no way to guess what the brightness and hue will be so try before you go all-in. Then, buy a few extra as spares, because finding that same fixture, brightness and hue again later if one craps out is unlikely.

The Amazon (and other) ads don't always include specs like lumens and color temperature (K), but give some thought about how bright & how white you want the new ones to be. And also whether a fixture with its own switch would be useful in any of them.

Some ads show watts and that's useful if power usage is a concern but no help at all for brightness and color.

I just had to replace some in my class A. Dream Lighting is what we have, and I found them on Amazon. They look similar to the pic you posted. Same size, 12v. I bought the 6 pack.
