I just purchased a 2002 winnebago journey 32t craigs list mechanics special. I removed the generator and replaced the gas lines. It runs real nice and smooth now. I am wondering if anyone has experience replacing the belt from the onan lp powered engine to the generator. the unit only has about 80 hours on the meter but the 20 years of age concerns me about the integrity of the belt. I downloaded the service manual from onan and it isnt much help. I have the unit out of the coach now and I cant see if the belt is good or not. I could not find anything on youtube and I appreciate any good mechanical advice thank you.

That link shows several hits on belt replacement.

I didn't know there were belts in some Onan generators until this post.
