Replacing Vinyl Trim Around RV Windows

I have an older travel trailer that I would like to replace the outside window trim around the windows in the strip that has the screws in it. I cannot figure for the life of me, how to get the trim to form around the flat corners. The straight part is easy but how do you get the vinyl trim to conform around the flat corners? I would welcome all replies as this is driving me crazy.

From what you describe, the trim vinyl you have, I take it is just some generic stock in a roll? Or is it manufactured specifically for your windows?

No, its just in a roll. It fits the straight part good but I cannot get it to look good around the windows. Is there a place you can buy the stuff that is manufactured for windows?

Is the metal that it goes into just straight strips like this with a 90° corner? Maybe cut at 45° angles for the corner? If so, about all that you can do is to cut the plastic insert. You may want to post a picture of what you have. This is what I think that you are dealing with.

Is what the OP talking about gasket material that goes behind the screw on window framing that basically holds the window outside-in to the trailer?

Pictures are needed. He's either talking about the actual rubber gasket around the glass or the butyl rubber tape that seals the frame to the outside wall.
