Removed front window on 2008 Coachmen Freelander and found the wood quite wet all around the bottom of the frame. Original frame has foam tape which has become rock hard and is allowing water in.
Question- use butyl tape or foam tape?

What size? The picture saw a fixed window being replaced with one that opens. Have to run to the shop for size.
What did I miss. I didn’t see any pictures provided by the OP. Only 2 pictures by you. I’m soooooo confused!!!!

Like Rene, I don't see any pictures in post #6...
I post 6 he says now to find a window, I have one in my shop. The pictures were the install of a window that opened and was larger than the one removed. Picture 1 no window #2 windows in. That's a buddies class A, I have a series of pictues of what we did.

My son and I took our back window out and scraped all the old gasket out and replaced with butyl. Hasn’t leaked since. I just went to a local RV dealer and bought a roll. Probably cheaper on Amazon.
