Tom we will provide you "a pass" (wink) adding Gloria Estefan to a Rock and Roll Thread, only because she is easy on the eyes.

I will say, the Song offering you add is Soothing on the mind though.

I find myself getting out of my Rock and Roll genre and listening to a wide variety of stuff now days.

Travis Tritt, I did not know anything about that guy to include his name up until 12 months ago.

Here is a Good Travis Tritt Link.

Wally - You are listening to the wrong version of CN. PULSE has the ultimate version. I have only watched this about a thousand times.

I bet the people sitting under the unfolding disco ball must have been pooping their pants.
There's no "wrong" version of any Pink Floyd tune, Tom.
I've been a fan since the Atom Heart Mother and Obscured by Clouds days. Saw them in '74-early '75(?) in Tempe, AZ at ASU. No disco ball, but there was a flying pig and a rather large flying bomber that crashed and exploded around 15 rows in front of us.

I'm the same way. I love rock but to me this is beautiful.

I dunno. I kinda liked #1 better than #2. The black Strat sounded better also. The laser lights in both were way cool though. Man I miss those days.

We luckily saw them in 2019 although they're not the same without Linsey. We were happy to hear Neil Finn from Crowded House again though.

They put on a good show and we were glad we went despite the cost, expensive even up in the gods.

Saw Boston at a Early Texxas Jam, #2, 1979. They shot a Firework array off that was roped together, It said,

"Thank You Texxas From Boston"

That thing prolly shot over the top of the cotton bowl a couple hundred feet, and when it came down a pretty good size chunk on fire came back down left of the stage in the seated / chair area of the crowd. It was big enough to make people move quickly. LOL.

That's the one I was at. I found my ticket stub also. Well, what's left of it. It is pretty beat up. But still...pretty cool.

Ed,

I think the year before they were $12.50. I had the stubs myself but they fell victim to a over zealous cleaning event and they went out with the garbage.

I remember the Blisters from the Texas Jams 1,2,3! Full Upper body peel. You had to pay that price for Rock and Roll!

Concert Pricing is extreme now days. I have paid $300 ish per tix for both Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. I have also paid $200 for tix in the Nose Bleed top of AT&T San Antonio for Billy Joel and Van Valen. I have been to so many that I am thinking I may have seen all of the concerts I am going to see. Heck all my Idol are dying off anyway. RIP x 2: Eddie Van Halen and Money.

I think my last concert 2014 was Alice Cooper and Motley Crue (All Bad things Must End Tour) at The Woodlands, Mitchell Pavilion (North Houston). Great Place to See a outdoor event! Stay at the Marriott and walk over to the Venue out the Parking Garage. The security was so tight for Motely Crue, as the event team was searching people for contraband at the gates. I missed half the set of the warm up group (AC) waiting in line. They were making people turn their pockets inside out and look in their hats. I was at the venue a 45 min to hour early to boot.

I got the T-shirt anyway...LOL.

Ed, Did you see the Firework Banner that Boston Shot up in the Sky come back in flames to the crowd?

"Thank you Texxas From Boston"

It had those folks scrambling, LOL!

That Flaming piece came back to the left of the stage, up in the seating area about the Goal Line to 5 Yard Line Area.

I just finished viewing Celebration Day by Led Zeppelin. Best LZ concert video I have ever seen. After about 90 minutes Jimmy Page's hair was soaking wet. The man must perspire a lot. He sure put a lot into his playing.

Tom,

My Sister her husband was a amateur Photographer. Led Zeppelin played the Tarrant County Convention Center in Ft Worth there in the mid 1970s. My Bro in Law had just a regular ticket to the Zeppelin show but, he was able to get on the side of the stage by the stack of speakers and he took alot of pictures just feet away from the band.

The 1970s were a different times for going to concerts. Concert seating, anything goes to secure your spot.

I remember once at Midland Chaparral Center/at a Van Halen Show, I think 1979, the Stage was 4' 6" tall located where a basket ball goal would be in that tiny arena. The Barracade wall was also made from plywood so it was 4 ft tall. To make a long story short I had my hand and arm in that 6" gap, and I was leaning on about a 45 degree angle attempting to pull myself up into the very front row, and the barricade broke,.. right after I heard it creak a few times. It was hello face please meeet the wooden stage.

Lucky for me the mob of people quit pushing and backed off or it could have been a real bad day. Also lucky that was a small venue, less ocean of people behind me. I got a couple deep concert scars on the left hand out of it.

The left Carpal Tunnel Operation removed most of the old 1979 concert scarring and replaced them with a new 2020 surgical operation scarring, LOL.
