Ron Marabito

Long time forum member and contributor, Ron Marabito, passed away on March 19th. He was a multiple Bluebird Wanderlodge owner, architect and accomplished photographer.
There will be a memorial service at the Heard Nature Museum in Dallas next month. Date to be determined.

Oh dear, that is sad news Ernie. Ron was also a long-time RV Forum staff member, and made many informational contributions of help to forum members. He was proud of his Bluebird.

Tom, I also spoke to Liz Pearce. She used to call Ron her big brother.

In Spring of 2011 Ron organized a rally in the Texas Hill Country- it was marvelous, including cave tour, river tour, and much, much more. His photos were outstanding, and he was a really nice guy. Unfortunately that was the only time we saw him but it was a wonderful rally that we'll never forget- I got some good video, too.

Sad to hear, Ron and his wife visited with Jim and Pat Dick and Jo and I at Old Faithful. His wife Shirley was sitting outside his RV and got a nice pic of a Pine Martin. Jim and I had been trying to see one for quite some time and she got it. During that visit we all went up to Bozeman and had lunch with Jim and Pat Godward. Will be quite a reunion in heaven today.

Jim photos that went out of the frame amazed me.

Sad to learn this. For many years Ron was an avid participant, both online and at RVForum rallys, wherever they were. Have hosted Ron & Shirley in my yard a couple times as well.
