I was going to clean my roof and as normal I was checking for any areas that needed more sealant. I notice at the front cap the rubber roof separated about 3/4 of an inch and some loose roof material is bubbled up. I've tried to push back without any results. I have to assume that air got in under the rubber roof and cause this. I cannot find any where air could have infiltrated the cap or sealant around the cap. I have ordered "EternalBond" to cover this but I'm wondering if stapling the roofing down to keep it from moving more. Or with a hypo needle insert contact glue under the rubber before I cover it with the EternalBond.

This RV is 8 years old and this is the first time this has occurred. And yes, the correct way would be to pull the front cap but that involves a lot of time and money.
Any suggestion?

no this looks like extra material that raise due to air and was pulled slight out from under the cap.

If it is out from under the edge of the cap, that is very different than bubble in the membrane along the caulked edge of the cap. If it has pulled out there may be more of a problem than some bubbles. The bubbling is actually very common and isn't a problem as long as the bubbles remain fairly small and do not spread away from the edge.
