Hey there.

We recently sold our 2008 R-vision ultra light which held up pretty well during the time we owned it.
I keep an eye on my seals and redo when needed.

I am currently looking at a 2017 Coleman Lantern and the roof pictures look "off". There are no leaks and apparently it's had matinance done.

My 2008 had a smooth bright white roof that looked nearly new. This coleman roof looks textured and worn and it's 10 years newer. Is it the fact that they switched to OSB in modern trailers? Are the new membranes as good as the old?

I agree that it is not the original surface but has had some sort of coating added and probably it was a "do it yourself" type of project. It also appears that you can see where the joints between sheets of roof underlay are and that would concern me.

Run, don't walk away. Looks like some major delamination going on.
