Roundabout Next to Boat & RV Storage Facility

Roundabouts can be a curse for property owners that are located ‘downstream’, if the roundabout is subjected to heavy traffic flow. Entering a roadway close to a roundabout can be dangerous, as there is no letup in traffic flow, that stoplights/stop signs ensure.

I found that there are good people out there and if you stick your nose out there, Someone will let you in

I drove the UK from England, Wales and Scotland including in and around London. The only problem I had was my trepidation, in the beginning, when encountering a roundabout. You just need to know in advance what exit you need to take and know that if you miss it you can simply go around again. Never had any problems entering the roadway upstream and downstream from the roundabout. Like Nike says, just do it.

Having grown up in the UK, I was used to roundabouts. Over the years, as traffic volume increased, traffic slowed, and roundabouts became clogged. On one of my visits back to the homeland I was surprised and somewhat horrified to see entrances/exits to roundabouts controlled by traffic lights.

Swindon's Magic Roundabout eliminates the need for traffic lights, but it must be a nightmare for large vehicles.

The nearby city constructed many traffic circles. One was in front of a golfing supply store, so they made the center into a putting green, and maintained it to golfing standards. I thought was a very creative idea for advertising.
Sadly the golfing supply store closed and the city removed the putting green and sat a big stone statue of two half-moons kissing, what the hey??????
