Hi All,

The 2 motorhomes we are considering for purchase both have " Royal Tuff-Ply/ TPO roofs".  I would prefer one piece fibreglass!

Does anyone have any experience of these roofs?

The coaches we are considering are Damon Tuscany 4076 and Fleetwood Providence 40X

Thanks and happy travelling

A TPO product like Royal Tuff-ply is a major improvement over the previous generation of EDPM rubber roofs, but not as durable as solid fiberglass. It will, however, give you many years of trouble free service and is easy to clean. We had a similar product on our 2002 and it held up very well and endured some heavy duty cleanings after we parked under pine trees for an entire summer. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

You are right, solid fiberglass is better yet, since it is all but impervious to tears from tree branches.  But it's pricey and you will find it mostly on high dollar rigs.
