Hello, I am new to the forum, and would like to ask a question.  Several years ago, we were camped at Guntersville Dam, in Guntersville, Alabama, and an RV barge passed by on the river.  We always thought that would be a neat way to travel, and now that the nest is empty, could more easily pursue it.  Could someone tell me if there is still an RV barge tour company in existence?  I have searched the internet and found reference to them, but none of the dates on the articles are recent.  Any info would be appreciated, and thank you.  --  John and Jan

Gone, probably forever. They couldn't afford to bring the barges up to code...We missed going by one year.
