Hello.
I have dreamed of RV living for many years.  I will be an empty nester soon and am ready to take the plunge.
I look forward to learning from this forum while I begin this new journey.  I am still in the planning stage and hope to buy my first (used) RV this spring. Emily

Welcome, Emily!

You will find countless tales here of others who are thinking about doing what you want to do from your situation, and many who have done it!

Enjoy your research here - plenty of things to talk about and don't hesitate to ask your questions!

Kim - I just noticed you are at Lakeside. I was just there last month for a few nights. What a great RV park. I especially loved Snowflake.

Tom, get out ! We're here to birth our fifth and final (we think) grandchild next Friday! I've seen Snowflake but not Midnight (a white swan and a black swan on the lake here) this time. Have fun at Disney!

Sorry, Emily, sometimes there's a side conversation!

Continue with your dreaming!

Emily don't rush your hunt. I've been searching for months and dreaming for years to make the upgrade from my 5er. Pick my new to us DP up next week. Side note!!!! Skyking4ar2 met you in Sherwood RV dealership a couple weeks ago, DW worked with your brother. We found the right coach finally.  We'll catch you on the road sometime. I now turn this thread back over to Emily and her dream, now in progress. :D

I think these other folks are dreaming they are in a different thread altogether.

Emily, I bought a used 15 year old RV 3 years ago, and am still having a blast!  You can read more about it at my blog.

Start looking around and don't rush into anything, the more you look at RV's the more you learn and don't listen to those silly salesmen that try to force you into a snap decision.

There are hundreds of thousands of rigs up for sale new and used. Good luck!
