Rv fireplace

I have a 35 ft Itasca Sunstar. We have a fireplace that stopped working. No heat. How would we remove the fireplace and any suggestions on how to fix it?

The last fireplace we had to remove in a former toy hauler, it was super easy. It was basically screwed into the wall. Behind the wall, you could see it was just another appliance with a standard electrical cord that plugged into a 110 outlet.

And I would expect that BCoey's fireplace is an electric space heater much like KFX' had. And the "no heat" may be as simple as a loose power plug or a faulty switch.

I'm about done with the fireplace. I suppose the ambiance is nice, but the fan keeps failing to spin, even after oiling the shaft.
The thing is only about 6" deep, in a cutout that's about 12" deep and that handy storage space is looking very inviting as we don't have much in the way of pantry space.
A good quality portable 1500W heater could sit in there too. Just need to find a cabinet guy to make me a couple doors.

Our last 5er had two 1,500W Dimplex fireplaces, with no fans. I never liked them. Then when Dimplex issued a recall because of a fire hazard with the remote built into the power cord, I quit using them and bought 2 small floor 1,500W heaters with fans.
They did a much better job of heating our 40' 5er than the fireplaces ever did.
It was easy to remove them, then have the Amish cabinet makers craft doors for new storage spaces.
BTW, Amish cabinet makers do excellent craftsmanship and are cheaper than stuff from big box stores. I took them the measurements, they declined to use them and asked what day they could come and measure the openings.
I installed them and the finished look was better than the installed cabinets.

For the record mine is the 26" curved glass Furrion. Out of production, though flat front 26" is available for $250-300.
At the Q show, looked like everyone has gone to 30".

I had a similar issue with the fireplace noise and flickering. Turned out to be a loose connection behind the panel.

DW loves ours, takes the chill off the tiles when she does yoga in the morning. They are simply glorified hair dryers - but do remove chill and radiate when set up well.

On that one, I saw it before anyone had responded, so rather than comment, I did one of the "reports" as that seems to me to be the purpose of the tab? As to AI generated responses, in my view that depends on how AI was used if by a legitimate forum member. I find that AI does write a more concise and often more clear response that I might have written to say the same thing.

I think you guys are kinda missing what I am referring to. I’m not saying it’s a real person cutting and pasting an AI generated question or answer.
I see first posts with weird / odd written things. Be it way off topic replying to an existing thread or just really stupid/silly initial post. And normally “they” never come back. I use the word “they” very loosely as I believe it’s not a real person. It’s a complete AI created/generated/controlled profile, thread, post, etc…
