These statistics for the U.S. RV market were presented by RV Today:

  • 72 million people in the U.S. own RVs.
  • $9B is spent annually on new RVs.
  • $49B is spent annually on used RVs.
  • The average RVer is in his/her upper 40's and makes $56K/year.
  • 60% of the Airstreams ever built are still on the road.

    Good statistics.  That's interesting about the Airstreams, but I'll bet the percentage of Blue Birds is higher. 8)  I'll see if I can find any information on that.

The stats for the Birds should be very interesting. I suspect you're right that they'll have a higher percentage still on the road than Airstream.
 
I think the total number of Bluebird MH/s built is just a fraction of the number of Airstreams built.  So that needs to be taken into consideration.
 
That's why statistics can lie Ron  ;D
