Just remember when adding toppers that some RVs have a mattress height and/or weight restriction. If we added 4” more to our mattress, the window edging thingies (I can’t remember the name!) would rub. I could cut them off, but that seems a bit of an overkill. The weight issue can be remedied with heavier gas struts unless yours has an electric motor. That would be a more expensive upgrade. Oh, and then there is the potential of your bed covering no longer covering the mattress. I just finished a quilt made for our motorhome with a maximum of 12” overhand. Spent well over 100 hours and lots of money on it, and I can’t accept a topper that would exceed my current mattress height. This is why we are looking for something that meets the criteria but isn’t 12-16” high like some of the options we have looked at.
