Unreal story .Those poor little girls died because of their stupid parents and two deranged sicko's! I would give them both the CHAIR! I hate this blame it on the up bringing thing but they have a point to some degree that those little angels would have been safe if it weren't for their so called parents. That killer didn't even show any remorse,he's proud of himself it seems. Heartbreaking to say the least.

I disagree Woodartist,  You can not blame ANYTHING on drugs,  Drugs are inannamate objects like Rocks or concrete slabs, When some Idiot goes 100+ mph around a curve which has a 35 mph advisory sign and runs off the road into a tree killing himself and all inside the car do you blame the concerte? No, Do you blame the car?  NO, you blame the idiot who decided to do 100+ in that curve.

When by some miricle (Spelled s e a t <space> b e a l t) one of the occupants survives and tells the story of how the driver was a real idiot and hollered "WATCH THIS" just before splattering his brains and those of his front seat passanger all over the windshield (What few brains he had) do you blame the car  NO (Note, there are cases where you do blame the car but this is clearly not one of them)

I don't blame the drugs,  I blame the druggies, in this case that is 4 adults, partnts and killers

There is one kind of drug deal that goes right far as I'm concerend (Well 2) That is the folks who sold drugs to a friend of mine who happens to be named John as well... For some reason he never bought from the same supplier twice (Unless he was buying asprin)

Wonder if that had anything to do with the fact he's the best Narcotics officer I've ever met (Very evil grin)

The other kind of "right" drug deal is leagal drugs (IE: OTC and Prescription)

I agree John and should have amplified the comment more. Same thing with guns, cars, etc. The human element is the creature at fault.............Free will, as it is called. ::)

Ah but John they have been doing it for years.

Some VFR rated idiot takes off in his Piper in IFR conditions and flies into cumulus granite and it's the airplane's fault. It got so bad they all but put the general aviation industry out of business. Only an act of Congress has started to turn things around.

Don't you ever watch television?? All the lawyer's ads will guarantee you that NOTHING is your fault. The company that manufactured the product that you are holding in your hand when something bad happens is to blame and they are responsible!!

I think he was being sarcastic." Like the criminals always? blame it on drugs."

Well, a lot of Rv'rs in the SouthWest frequent Mesquite, Vegas, Laughlin...etc. Many dry camp at that Casino lot where the problem happened. It was posted as an FYI. The problem in Clark County and Arizona with drugs and crime is increasing as the S. Ca gangs move in. Not sure this incident was related to that effect though. Same reason I posted the link about the Wal Mart RV killing....thought there might be interest. If you're offended, don't read it I guess. I just put the link up so those who might be interested can check it out.  ;)

Hard to argue that it is not an interesting story. Useful, educational, if for no other reason than people can read about the attitude that guy has. Yes, there are people like that. Hard to imagine what goes on in someone else's head. This guy spells it out for us.

The interest, here, is that it happened in a R. V. campground. Not too much can be made of this, however. The R. V. campground is just where the perpetrators happened to be, when the incident occurred. It has no other importance to the story. It is not germain to the event, beyond a location. It is not a characteristic of R. V. people nor R. V. travels nor camping. It's just where these thugs were, when they turned on each other. They can be anywhere.

In the case of this mental rectum and the equally qualified female, we know where they are going to be.

Just got back today from a short trip, and leaving again in two or three days.? I won't miss a wink of sleep, worrying, on my next campout.

Not sure if you are familiar with Mesquite, Ray. It is of those fastest growing areas about an hour N. of Vegas. Was a very small town with a casino but in the last several years it has experienced explosive growth....more casinos:) I stop there every few months and will be going back in a few weeks. I'm not aware of an RV park.....although I could have overlooked it. The mentioned casino permits dry camping in their lot and I'm going to have another look there to see if there is a park. It could be the incdent was in the parking lot, although the article does make it clear there is a RV park. Regardless, it is a shame to see another small town having problems. The "mental rectums" seem to be getting more common.........Kind of expect it in large cities, but now the problems are coming to the small towns. There was a former LA gang officer on TV today and he said the gangs are moving out of LA and S. CA because they have run out of "turf.".............The trend is not a good one

Woodartist: I got the R.V. Park idea from the title of the thread. Haven't been to Mesquite in thirty years.

I used to get asked how to find a good lawyer.  My answer was always the same,  Take out the yellow pages, Open to Attornies at law, and a big black marker, cross out all those with display ads, now turn on Radio, Television and pick up newspaper, every time you rear, see or read an ad for a lawyer, cross him out too (You see, in order to afford all that expensive advertising they have to be overcharging) pick from the two remaining.

As for the Piper comment... I don't have to turn on Televison  Of Piper and Cesna, one of them I beileve used to be made in western lower Michigan (In or Near Grand Rapids) and they had one model that looked a lot like the other's planes (Well the nose did anyway)

I spent New Years Eve babysitting one of those (Or rather what was left of it) when the local PD ran out of reserves so they called up RACES (Of which I used to be a member and will be again soon as I finish my re-certification)  Seems this "pilot" (And I use that loosley) had gotten his license in the mail the day before, so he checked out the club aircraft, brand new, only air time was the delivery trip, and took a few of his friends out to celebrate.  Well, as you know, most folks think the only way to celebrate is to drink poison and he was no exception (Alcohol is a poision) so, nicely buzzed, off they went,  Straight into a storm, and SPLAT they went all over a park up in Troy Michigan. (This was around a quarter century ago if you wish to look it up, likely a bit more)

At least he won't be doing it again

I don't know about then, but if that happened today the "pilot's" estate would sue the aircraft manufacturer because they didn't design the aircraft to prevent it from taking off if the pilot was drunk. With the idiot juries we have now they would win.

Didn't mean to imply your making an error, Ray. Just the article. Mesquite was about the same as 30 years ago...until a few years ago. We would travel through and stop at the Virgin River for the night. Now you wouldn't recognize it:) Major grocery stores and a Super Wal Mart...really big. Not to mention several casinos. Progress  marches on ;)
