RV Park Recommendations for Crater Lake, Florence, OR and Glacier

Another spot in Glacier would be Apgar.  Jeff and Sue were going to camp there last week.  Maybe one of them can report in?

The Apgar campground is right next to the village at West Glacier. 2-3 minute walk to the lake, 5 minutes to the village and nice sized sites. Trailer Life says no slideouts but that is not so. Also no hookups.

They do not take reservations but we were told they seldom fill up. It is the only cg in the park (at least on the west side) that can hold RV's of any size.

Not a place for sats, the sites are heavily shaded.

I saw several RV parks outside the west entrance but did not check them out.
