If you like to combine RVing with fishing &/or boating, or you just like a campsite with a view of the water, there are literally dozens of places on the California Delta that might suit your needs. Not all offer a view of the water but, in most cases that don't, it's only a short walk up onto a levy to get a view and to cast a line. Alternatively, you can drive the levy roads, find a spot to park, and toss out a line. The Delta's 1200 miles of waterways offer a variety of water sports, including boating, waterskiing, fishing and windsurfing.

LOL Jim, you're sworn to secrecy  ;D  That campground has water taxi service too.

BTW do you remember visiting Chris and Mimi Pennings at The Sugar Barge while they were attending a Monaco rally? You, Pat, Caltex, my Chris and I turned up to interrupt their afternoon nap.

LOL Ron, and low rent at that. We had a good lesson in CG management and hospitality at Sam's Camp  ;D

My lips are sealed!! ;)

Yes, I remember the visit. It was a very nice afternoon as were all of them. :)

I remember Chris taking that picture of us on the boat.

You were here the "wrong" week. A couple of weekends ago we had some friends from the UK and we toodling around in the inflatable when another friend in a go-fast boat drove by. Our UK friends wanted a go-fast ride, so they left me in the inflatable and had a wild ride. The wife of the couple described it this way: "the skin on my cheeks was pushing past my ears"  ;D

Tom,

Now that's a huge difference, inflatable to go-fast!! :)

One of the former Commodors of our yacht club in Maryland had a go-fast. One of the members went out with him and thought he was going to die. Guess the owner loved to go fast where he shouldn't! Even if one was deaf they would know when he fired it up. Your chest would pulsate!
