Sorry for posting so much (newbie)

Anyone have links to companies used for RV ports for driveways?

Are there dealers of them at RV shows?

Wanting one asap to keep my new baby away from the snow:)

Dont worry about posting a lot. Having more posts about rvs will help me stay out of trouble lol

I would think you would want someone who is local. Any company that sells sheds or garages should have what you need. Add metal to the search if you want metal as opposed to wood. Metal might be cheaper

Others here know far more than me so hopefully they can answer that. -30 is definitely cold. I dont know how cold all the components are designed for.

In the area i live the garage and shed companies carry both car ports and fully enclosed buildings.

i assume you want something that can be heated?

It’ll be fine cold. Snow load on roof May be the worry. Feet of heavy wet snow is the worst. But if you just get a couple feet or so of mixed snow you’ll be fine. When it is that cold just leav3 it alone. Things are brittle.

Big issue is snow load and the codes. Look for companies that make metal carports, they will have other sizes and shapes. I searched Google for clarington ontario metal carport dealer and got Versatube (manufacturer), Alan's metal carports, and others.

Its a total crap shoot....

I don't have a choice since the HOA in my new neighborhood doesn't allow camper storage. But in my area high winds frequently destroy those lightweight metal carports and the RVs they fall on. Commercial covered storage is usually built to withstand the occasional hurricane force winds. With 8' fencing, security system with cameras, and outlets for battery maintainers is not that expensive compared to building a comparable structure.

I store mine in a retired farmers shed. The county fair grounds (about 8 miles away) also has storage area in their barns.

But what about the electronics? Touch pads etc ...it be -30 this weekend Siberia weather...Rv port won't keep it warm
If you want to keep it warm in sub-zero weather, you need an insulated and heated barn, not a typical RV port. And building something like that takes many months and lots of planning, so plan on renting enclosed & heated storage initially.
