Yes, but not financial- often people can get a better price at the dealer's lot, in spite of the hoopla from the show vendors about "savings."Is there any advantage of RV shows?
The big advantage to a show, IMO, is that in one place you can see and compare many RVs that are otherwise spread over many square miles, perhaps 30-100 miles away. Another advantage is that there are often a lot of accessories on display such that you can learn about (and usually see) many products that you otherwise might not know about.
One big drawback of the show is that there are so many RVs there that you can quickly lose track of which had what, so you need to be careful to document what you've seen and what you thought of each.
There are other pros and cons, but the above are the biggies, to me.
