Out of sync, gears are worn, metal shavings in two places.

Dave said they could make it work, but it would eventually break again. I was all set to replace all the parts anyway.

Not fixed, yet, don't know.

@Mark: I have no idea. It's an "old" (2020) design that since been redesigned. What determines regular vs slim? Age? Size/load of the slide?

Think I had the slimrack style on my 2024 MM2108FBS
It failed in the first couple weeks of use and swapped to the Vroom system, best upgrade I’ve made!

The slim looks like a straight gear, the regular has the rounded looking grooves.

I see some pretty large slides with the slim rack and I'm having a hard time believing that's not as fragile as the other one.

Just drove by B & B. I noticed your rv is parked adjacent to the road and the rear door was open and the stairs were extended. I also noticed that the slide out was opened so they may be working on it.
