I'm looking at a trailer with a large schwintek slide out system.  I would prefer a rack system but don't know the good or bad associated with the schwintek.  Does anyone have one?  Problems?  Love em?

My new coach has the Lippert Schwintek slides and one of the tracks was installed upside down (!) which ultimately caused some issues, but it was reinstalled without too much issue. Techs in two different warranty stations claimed the technology was apparently still "new" and there had been some issues, but apparently they are being sorted out.

Like all new technologies or engineering, there's going to be some field experience that will be different from the original research and development. Now that I know a little more about it, I can watch for future issues but it is not going to keep me from enjoying their use.

I have to say they are much quieter to operate than the Power Gear in my previous coach. Past that, I am no expert, just a consumer.  8)
