Good day all, I have a question. I have 2010 Keystone Sprinter TT that the security light bulb burnt out. I replaced it and now the light stays on all of the time. I even removed the switch and unplugged it and the lamp still burns. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on?
                                                                                    Thanks George!

I would say that you unhooked the wrong switch. Also, check that you are using the right bulb. In one old coach I saw an 1157 (dual filament bulb) being used and the light was wired to 2 switches in different places, one for each filament. Quite unusual to me.

My security light switch has two possible actions. Push the switch and release it to have the light burn all the time. Push the switch and hold it for three seconds and the light is motion activated. I don't know that yours works the same way. CaptSteve may be right, you may be looking at the wrong switch or have the wrong bulb. Or there might be two switches. Unfortunately many RVs don't document their switches very well. But that is part of the adventure of RVing :D

Well folks now we know what a dummy I am .  If you turn the light on with the remote you also have to turn it off with the remote. After two weeks of constant burning my security light is now off.
                                                Thanks anyway! George
