"To interested parties I will give name and contact info of service advisor at my repair facility. He will provide further details as to conditioni of engine and chassis."
Would you like to regenerate the title as well as the summary?
There's an old saying I believe continues to apply. Talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey. Unless the service advisor is able to back up his comment with an agreement in writing it is meaningless. Don't hold your breath waiting for the agreement. The service advisor for RVs at the truck repair place I have taken it to several times in Northeast Ohio has told me that I could give his name and phone number, and he would be happy to vouch for the engine and chassis as being in very good condition. How can I post that information as an update to the ad I posted here?
When weighed on a value scale, the word of a professional who worked on the item is worth more than the word of the untrained seller who is vested in making the sale. Neither has the weight of a warranty, verbal or written, but the buyer isn't going to get a warranty on an elder, high mileage rig in any case. So yeah, what the guy is offering is merely a warm fuzzy and not something the buyer can take to the bank. There's an old saying I believe continues to apply. It might not be any guarantee, but his name and phone number would probably carry some weight. If he is willing to answer questions of a potential buyer, it might not increast the price much but should make it sell sooner.Unless the service advisor is able to back up his comment with an agreement in writing it is meaningless.
