Service Expectations

It sounds to me like dealerships and manufacturers are selling all of the RVs they want to sell and just turn away new and repeat customers. That's what you are doing if you don't do warranty work. I certainly wouldn't buy a thing from a dealer, parts included that wouldn't warranty an RV I bought somewhere else and in the interim moved close to this certain dealership. We will likely be trading for a new one every couple of years so if I were a dealer I wouldn't want to miss out on those sales. But that's just me and my fuzzy logic I guess.

Maybe they’ll make an exception just for you.

Haha, I don't need an exception. At least not yet. I do all of my work myself. Not sure why you have to make smarta$$ comments like that when I'm just voicing an opinion. It's obvious the RV world is a different market and they play by their own rules.

The rule is economics. If it was in the dealers interest to do warranty work on RV's bought from outside their dealership they'd be doing it.
