Shakamak State Park Indiana

Spending 5 nights here. For us, this park is great. HUGE sites, well spaced with plenty of privacy. Full hookups are as wooded as the other sites, instead of pads in a field, as is sometimes the case. We don't have kiddies with us, but if you do, the playgrounds look brand new. Nice restrooms and showers if needed. Everything seems well-kept-up. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I agree, we were there last Fall. Nice lakes to rent boats on and explore. Turkey Run and McCormicks Creek are other good ones in that area.
