When Josie comes home, it's so good.
She's the pride of the neighborhood.
Today's gift. When we fly home in the spring, it's 2 or 3 every day for a couple weeks.
We don't have mice, but lots of shrews and voles that feast on sunflower seeds, etc. in the garden.

Update on Blue. First road trip for him. He always loves truck rides but over 21 hours of travel he was perfect. He slept in the doggy covered rear seat for hours and hours. My buddy Rob said, "Blue is like invisible. You don't even know he's there."
He's good on the leash but as a farm boy he is rarely on it. I think he was bladder shy to pee on leash but he finally drained like a quart after like 10 hours.
My big concern was #2. He didn't go for 3 days! I had no idea of his frequency because he is a farm dog and goes during long outdoor periods.
I was starting to get concerned he might be impacted but on morning walk today he finally went... A lot... twice.
Note to self. Carry two doggy bags...
He is also popular. He's never been around so many people at once in his life. Country mouse goes to the city so he was spooked by people, trucks moving around and all the action going on. But he acclimated easily.
Lots of folks commenting, "That's a heeler." - You sure? - I think so.
And he is friendly. Not hump your leg, jump on you friendly but calm friendly. I didn't teach him this so I am well pleased by his manners - LOL...
He loves campground life. I staked him out and he is happy laying in the shade and watching the world go on around him.
