I know that there has been lots of post relating to the problems with the Shurflo 5.7 water pump. Mine recently stopped working. I was pleased with the results I got after calling Shurflo. They had me send them the label from the old pump. It has the manufacture date on the label. The lady I spoke with said that they do not make the 5.7 anymore and it is replaced with a new model. Today I got the new pump delivered by UPS. The new water pump is model 4048-153-E75, 4 GPM, 55 psi. From the posts that I have read on this forum this pump hopefully will be more reliable and last longer.
