On the front side of my fifth wheel I had noticed a bulge at the bottom above the metal trim piece. Today since the weather has cooled down to working conditions I removed the trim. I found evidence of water damage at about five inches from the bottom edge. I removed the dried wood and cleaned the are well. I cut some thin plywood  to install to fill where the rotten wood was remove it looks good bulge is gone and should work fine. My question is what adhesive should I used the secure the wood and then the outside material? What should I use to seal the aluminum trim when I reinstall?

What type of polyurethane ADHESIVE would you recommend? Would something like liquid nail work?

Well finished the repair not perfect but better than it was. Waiting on the bytle tape to reinstall the trim piece. Also checked for any leaks none found this must have been from previous leak.
