I've recently purchased a pop up and have been practicing with set up and tear down. One thing I've noticed is that the slides are HARD to push in and pull out. Is there a way to lube them up? Axle grease? Front pull out is "bent" from previous owner. Still works but you have to really support it before putting braces up or it bows down ALOT.

The slide or pull-out mechanisms differ by brand and even model. Please tell us more abut what you have. Pictures of the mechanism would be helpful too.

Generally greases are to be avoided. They collect a lot of dirt and always end up getting on hands, clothing, and furnishings. Dry silicone spray lubes work well on metal or plastic glides and don't stain. Wax-like lubes work well on wood sliders. If there are rollers, you need to get at the bearings or bushings and get a clear lube inside.

I can't speak for yours, but our pup is an '84 Coleman Cape Cod...when we first got it, it took 2 men and a strong boy (well, it seemed like it:rolleyes:) to pull / push the slides. I vacuumed out the slide tracks, then used a dry silicone spray liberally. Now I can easily pull them out & back one-handed. I vacuum & spray them at the first of the season, & they work well all summer. YMMV.

Is it just me or is that one wheel flat....

The wheel in the second pic definitely has a flat spot And needs to be replaced. Looks like there is a lot of debris that needs to be cleaned out from all the tracks.
