HI, I recently purchased a Lance 1025 slide-on for my 1998 chev 3500 1 ton 8ft pickup.  Believe it or not it did not come with a rear sway bar!  I installed air lift bags in the rear.  It handles o.k. I guess but would heavy duty shocks and a sway bar help handling in any way. If so what make and models?  Thank you in advance. I'm newbie and want to be safe.

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the forum. I can't speak about the sway bar but you did the right thing with the air bags. Any slide-in that overhangs the rear of the pickup should have air bags.
