in a bit more detail, what i suspect happeneing is the lower Vmp set is "pulling" the higher Vmp set way off it's output curve and dropping the power considerably..

well, let me rephrase my statement.. "I would not recommend using such a device."
normal practice is to use a combiner and have the additional benefit of fuses and disconnects.

I agree, but since this guy has 3 panels on the roof and 3 roamers outside and using MPPT controllers with parallel connected panels, I was wondering how he's got them connected.

I probably should have just straight asked for a diagram.
