Ok tks - sounds like I best separate my AC and solar thoughts!
Do you know if the SolarFlex 400i system (2,000 watt inverter + 400 watt roof panel) will be sufficient to power the 18 cu ft residential refrigerator when driving?
New member here also. We are getting ready to become full timers and are looking at the Montana, so I've been research solar systems. 400W of solar are almost certainly NOT enough to run a residential refrigerator. Or, to put it another way, if you manage to do so, you won't be running anything else in your rig on solar. Why Keystone is aggressively marketing their SolarFlex system (which looks quite good) without pairing it with an RV fridge is beyond me. I'm happy to share my calculations with you if you like.Ok tks - sounds like I best separate my AC and solar thoughts!
