For all you guys in Arizona, I can only apologise....

We are now in El Paso, TX and are heading your way.

It seems our permanent bad luck  has already taken an effect on your weather - god only knows what will happen when we get there.  ;D ;D

We are heading thru Phoenix to Yuma.....

Anyone suggest any top places to stay and/or visit ?

Thanks
Paul

Now we know who to blame :)  Are you stopping in Phoenix?  Lots of forumites here, mostly in Surprise.

Don't apologize.....143 days with no precip....even snow is welcome to the folks in Phoenix!!! And we've got 10 inches of snow in southwest Colorado and we can't blame you for that....or can we????

Actually, the rain is welcome.  It's been pretty steady too, so hopefully some will soak in and not just run off.  We could do without the colder temps however :)

We have some friends staying at Arizona Sands.  I can check out a couple other campgrounds for vacancies.  Hope we can have a mini rally while your here in Yuma.

LOL!

A few years back, I was backpacking in the San Juan mountains NE of Durango, and four days of non-stop rain basically washed us out of the mountains. Desperately seeking dry ground, we headed over the border into the Utah desert. In an area that only gets a few days of rain in a typical year, we got rain every day.

Folks, if your grass is getting brown, just invite me over. The only time it doesn't rain is when my grass is brown. :)

Elkhart Lake, WI for the summer. Work at Road Amer
Paul,

You must be close to Lake Pleasant - it's been raining here since 4 a.m. ;D ;D

Actually, this would be a good place to spend a day or two (or more). It's about 15 miles NNW of Phoenix, beautiful views, paved sites, water, electricity, covered picnic tables (ramadas) for $18/night. Dump station. QUIET!!! I'd be happy to provide details.
