Just doesn't sound right. And having spent some years in the Coast Guard, it'll always be 'Lake Ontario' to me. Also, it's still the Gulf of Mexico.

The area, along with the Finger Lakes region is a hotbed of human trafficking.

The Finger Lakes, I was there last week on Seneca and didn't notice .
But I believe it for the cities Buffalo and Rochester

They're still there, but none have the requested full hookups.

The closest SP to Niagara Falls, Four Mile Creek, is mostly 30A only, with a handful of 50A. Most NY SPs don't even give you water at the sites, like most other state parks.

Buffalo, more so than Rochester, is a hotbed for illegals crossing over the Niagara River into the U.S. They'll cross in areas less than a quarter mile wide on jet skis, 2,3,4 at a time, and disappear before authorities can get to them, even when video surveillance sees them crossing. Also a big area for drug smuggling, using drones to cross the Niagara and drop drug packages, again, before authorities can respond.

As far as the Finger Lakes region goes, I was at Keuka Lake and Seneca last week also. Wasillaguy is correct about the region being a hotbed for illegal alien smuggling. I have acquaintances at CBP and DEA/FBI drug interdiction task forces.

Are you calling it trafficking humans to be P correct or you don't like saying smuggling illegals.
They are probably brought in to work the vineyards like the dairy farms around us that use them.
Before I retired working on construction sites in Buffalo we would have them stop quite often looking for jobs,and they didn't speak English. Never saw one get hired that way.
