Steps Won't Come Out

I have 1996 Winniebago Adv 34'.  Went to go into the rig the other day and the steps did not work.  Checked the usually things switch, power.  All appear ok.  Anybody have any thought of where to start to troubleshoot this problem.

Did you check the door switch as well as the main switch?  Wiring/power to the step motor itself?  And on some there is an ignition interlock, to force the steps closed when the engine is on or in gear.
