Stuck in Login Verification Loop on Forums After Cloudflare Issues

Last week it was this forum now it's irv2.com. I tried to log in just like I have for the last year or so and it doesn't log me in and I get locked in a verify loop, that goes nowhere. I tried the "contact us" link and it was a waste of time.
I told it I forgot my password, and they still havent sent me an email to reset it...

I have multiple computers two of them are, far as I know, configured iditically.
This one I often can not log in with Chrome (my choice of browsewr)
But EDGE works... As evidenced by this post ... Same with one other site I use.

The other one Chrome works here. but not the other site.
The rest of the computers are special needs boxes and are not "Browsers"
(like the3 windows 7 job in the other room that makes laughs.. Ok Christmas ornaments.
That make people laugh.
I hand it to you it says "Merry Christmas" then you turn it over and.....

A good rule is never give your E_dress, actual age, dob, phone in public

You will see things on FB "What was your first (or favorite) Pet's name
Or even "What was your mother's middle or maiden name or your grandmother's name or some such.

All those are "Security questions" ask to authentic you are you
"What school did you attend. Your first car.. And more.

Good advice is two part
DO NOT answer those or if you do. Lie or
Well I know which ones are on the list of questions my bank (And legit pages) ask and just ignore if some "Challenge" asks for 'em .

And I tend to lie about age/DOB My name is Real but John is #1 on the "Christian" Boys list and Davis, #7 on the last name list so you won't find me that way. You will find hundreds of thousands.

Click the Contact Us link, lower right of this page, and report your issue. Someone at the Help Desk should be able to help you with iRV2 access.

Try a different browser.(or PC)
I have multiple laptops. Theory is they are nearly identical Same Make, Model, OS bit of an upgrade on the CPU on #2. this is #`1
Same browse, same av (How many ways can I say Same)
#2 I never have an issue here
#1 Chrome browser often fails. EDGE works 99%+ of the time

On one other site.. Both machines..> Chrome No joy ever
Edge. 100% Both machines.


That site is NOT Cloudflair in fact I chat with the IT Pro who handles it.
One of these days, when I get bold enough to head west old man. I'll have lunch with him.

(THe bold part is it's a total 17 hour drive to where I"m going. only 2 to him)
Plus another 2 to the next stop then all the way to Wyoming for the final stop)

DNS servers translate internet addresses kind of like an internet phone book. Your computer may have been setup to use Cloudflare DNS servers since they are less likely to be hacked and are more secure. And/or maybe the computers running this site are setup for Cloudflare. If so that's a good thing since that helps protect your own PC.

A few years ago you may remember there were a lot of internet outages caused by hackers. They were hacking "generic" DNS servers operated by internet service providers.

I switched my Windows setup and found Cloudflare to be much faster. So I still use them. I get the checkbox at times and I have to click it but not that is not a big deal and well worth the extra internet speed and security.

I'm sorry you're having trouble.

We use Cloudflare at the forums to help slow down sketchy logins, and malicious crawlers. These critters slow down page loads and can overwhelm servers. When you see the check in place, it means we have an unusual amount of this traffic.

If you are using a VPN you may have some trouble getting past the check. Here are some trouble shooting tips:

• Disable your browser extensions. Disable all browser extensions, including privacy-related ones.
• Turn off the VPN or proxy.
• Disable ad blockers.
• Check your browser settings - your own privacy settings may be causing a hang
• Try incognito mode
• Try a different browser - Chrome, Edge or Safari are all good bets.

I have successfully used MS Edge to log on, with no problems. That darn bot verification gadget is still a pain..

Had another site same issue different authenticator.
The site admin got me to try EDGE and Viola Success.
I got to buy him a cup of coffee come may
(Assuming we actually meet)
