We have a 2002 thour karry all toy haller head a pop around the fuse block have n0o 12v power in less hooked to shore power but have 13v from the battery leads to the fuse block when i hook up the leads all 12v power from the batteries is lost this really got me stumped thanks Jim

First off, check your ground from the battery, where it connects to the frame. Do you have 12v power at the fuses in the fuse panel, when the shore power is NOT connected? You need to check the battery for a charge when it is disconnected.. Take it to an auto parts store and ask them to put it on their load tester. Many times a battery will hold a surface charge but the second any load is put on it, the voltage drops to nothing.

In my experience, a "pop" is indicative of a direct short, or a breakage somewhere in the circuit. (I have caused many of them myself) I would start troubleshooting with a VOM. Check wire continuity and voltage from the battery bank to the end of the line. Leave the batteries connected when checking for voltage, disconnect them when checking for continuity.

everything was working fine then there was a pop then nothing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,12v power in less hooked to shore power

As a retired electromechanical technician, a popping sound could have been a fuse but not likely if that pop was very loud. It could also have been something arcing or some solid-state device failing. The fuse panel is probably part of or very near to the converter and also the place where the battery and converter tie together. If everything 12V works when on shore power but not without it, that would indicate that the problem is between the battery(s) and the distribution panel, electrically. There could be a fuse of large size, say 30a or so in the supply from the battery and mounted on the distribution panel. If we knew what distribution panel/converter you have it might enable us to find more information for you. If you have found any additional information, let us know.

Three things that go POP
Fuse already mentioned
Circuit breakers some may go "CLICK" others "POP":

A wire breaking connection under heavy current

A test light is your friend.. This looks like an ice pick with a clear handle and a wire lead with clip
Any auto parts place or deparemtnt around 10 bucks or less

Test it at the battery I often have to re-seat the bulb .

Oh a 4th pop but not near the fuse box.. the battery.

Maybe you’re overlooking the 400 Amp fuse that’s inline to the battery? On Motorhomes they are usually mounted on the cabinet structure near the batteries.

If your rig is a towable trace the circuit from the charger to the batteries and from there to the 12 fuse panel.
