I snapped this photo on our way to the fuel dock this morning. During the winter months we see single seals (not usually in pairs) wander up into the CA Delta in search of stripers. This pair had apparently had their fill this morning and were sunning themselves.

That's a pretty cool picture, Tom, but you had me worried at first with your subject line.....I read 'strippers', you know, ladies who take their clothes off?

Tom,  the big stripers have arrived at Cape Hatteras in NC as well.

I plan a few days coastal surf fishing mid month.

Hope to have some pic's to share.

LOL Wendy, I hope Chris doesn't see your interpretation of what I was doing  :(

Good luck with the fishing Lou. This fall run (of stripers) has been a long time coming here on the west coast. I was beginning to think that the doom and gloomers were right about the dwindling striper population.

Robert,

You should know that I wasn't at the helm  ;D
