TEST adding Link without showing name in TEXT of Link

This is a story with a link to our RV. To do so, click on Chain "LINK" or by "Ctrl + K" above while in the creation mod. The Grech RV Link added here.
But I can't see the format. Oh, well, it's not what I wanted, but I get it; it's interesting.

The example below I had to edit the url so it's not a url with the wrong kind of brackets (I replaced [ with { and ] with} I also had to replace the URL with just text

With the Xenforo forum software, you simply type what you want to say, such as, you need this type of water hose for your RV.

Then you highlight the text you want to become a link, and click on the link symbol. A drop down box will appear, and you paste your link into it, and then hit the INSERT button, done.............

This is an Amazon link, it was extremely long, and they contain, in a coded format, information about the search, which I suspect, you really don't want others to know, if someone were able to "decode" it.

So, what I do is take the URL, while it is in the browser address bar, and click on the /ref which is found near the beginning of the URL (about 30 characters or so into the URL), and I click once, on the slash, then you may have to reposition the cursor and click again, and then hold down the delete button until text to the right of the cursor is all gone. This hose link was several hundred characters long in the beginning, now it is........ https://www.amazon.com/Teknor-Apex-400625-Company-4006-25/dp/B01N1FB8WV

I do this just to keep from cluttering up the forum's software and again, to prevent that unnecessary info in the link from becoming exposed.
