Brooks Robinson passed away yesterday. Played his entire career for the Baltimore Orioles. 16 Gold Gloves, 19 All Star selections. I got to see him play in 1970, the year the O's won the World Series. Jim Palmer pitched that night, Frank Robinson was in Left and Boog Powell on 1st.

Saw him play a few times against the Angels at the Big A. Greg Nettles was darn good but Robinson was the best. What a lineup to see play!!

Those were the greats. Today's ball players are iMO over-paid sissies by comparison and I don't watch them.
